Wie jeden ersten Samstag im Monat lädt auch am 07.03.2009 das "SUPER Schwarze Mannheim"-Team zum Szene-Treff der Superlative.
Erweitert auf VIER!!! Tanzflächen, einem Café und einer Innen-Raucher-Lounge, wird die düstere Seite der Musik von sage und schreibe ELF umtriebigen Szene-DJ´s zelebriert.
Auf dem "Main Floor" genießt man eine Klangcollage aus Mittelalternative-, Gothic-, Wave-, 80er-Sounds und den Klassikern der Szene!
Im "Stahlwerk" wird ein Mix aus EBM, Techno, Industrial, Hard Style und Hellectro und Classixx die Lautsprecher fast zum Bersten bringen. An den Plattenspielern toben sich die Helter-Skelter-Artists und immer wieder verschiedene Gäste aus.
Im "Headbangers Ballroom" wird in edlem Ambiente zu den verschiedensten Gitarrenklängen das Haupthaar geschüttelt. Dargeboten werden die Hits und Classix aus Gothic, Metal, Rock, Heavy und ...!
In der "Bat Cave" wird dem geneigten Szene-Aktivisten ein Potpourri aus Batcave, Gothic, Minimal, ElectroClash und 80ies in äußerst ansprechender Atmosphäre dargeboten. Mit frisch gestelltem Iro wird der Floor gerockt!
Alles in allem ein Muß für den ambitionierten "schwarzen" Nachtschwärmer!

Sehr schön, das wollte ich auch fragen. Da ich erst seit ein paar Tagen hier Wohne, freue ich mich natürlich was feines fürs Wochenende gefunden zu haben.

If the world of bodypainting is made up of day and night then the art of the dark hours has to be UV bodypainting. And if this world is made of kings and queens then the king of UV is Wolf Reicherter. UV bodypainting requires the ability to see things not in shadow and light like most artists, but in fluorescence and empty black space. Wolf Reicherter’s vision of the world is unique, and his artistic creations reflect his curious vision.
‘The aim of my work is to transform human beings into arrangements of light, ancient deities and ghostly apparitions. In the grey before time, before people began to develop clothing, they painted their bodies with fats and earth. A shaman painted from head to foot was the intermediate between his people and the otherworld.’
Painting with fluorescent colours is a separate technique that needs to be studied and practiced differently to regular bodypainting. The application onto the body and the designs are vastly different in possibilities to traditional brush and sponge or airbrush painting. Wolf was one of the first artists to make a study of this technique and has been the leader in his field for over a decade. His performances and photographs have astounded viewers all over Europe on stages, at festivals and in magazines.
‘Bodymagic builds bridges from the ancient past of body art into the here and now. With colour and lights only made possible by modern technology I am able to create magical art onto living bodies. Bodymagic is archaic body art in the sunrise of the 21st century.’
Wolf designs his artworks with a combination of Celtic, tribal designs and with robotic future visions in bold colours. These designs are effective in UV art where patterns are stronger than pictures and lines more important than blending colours. He also experiments with special effects and interesting props adding further dimensions to his art. Photographing with UV light is an art form that takes practice and patience. Wolf also photographs all his own projects and is as talented a photographer as painter.
The model for a bodypainting is as important as the artist in the success of a performance or still image and Wolf works with a range of talented dancers and acrobats to get results with his work that are dazzling. On a stage his creations of light and empty space move with a combination of grace and madness that can be as frightening as they are intriguing.
After winning numerous awards and developing a level of respect for himself in the bodypainting industry Wolf has moved in to teaching UV effects and UV photography. He continues to push his own boundaries with his art and to inspire many artists learning the delicacies of UV.

War mir allerdings zu voll - Ich hab lieber etwas mehr Platz auf der Tanzfläche
Ist denn immer so viel los? Oder war das jetzt die Ausnahme?
Minuspunkte:
Zu kalt in den Gängen (geht aber wohl nicht anders in dem Riesen-Ding)
Metal-Floor war nicht nur kalt, sondern auch äußerst lieblos gestaltet.
Keine Milch für den Kaffee da - *narf*
Die Garderobenschlange hat den Weg zum Batcavefloor blockiert, das fand ich etwas nervig.
Ewiges Verlosungs-Gebrabbel statt Musik
Auf jeden Fall find ichs toll, dass sich wer die Mühe macht so ein Event zu organisieren! Da geh ich gerne wieder hin
