The last 2 years of touring has really pushed me to the edge of self destruction. I've been touring non-stop and been more or less drunk and behaving like a jackass at all times. I've disrespected my wife, and my band members wives and girlfriends with my behavior. I've cheated on my wife and acted like a fool. I do think that bad karma will hunt you down in the end, and bite you in the ass, so i've decided to change my life. This does not mean that I will stop making music, or stop working on Combichrist, but I will change the way I live my life. I want a better life for myself and my family, I don't want to end up like a burned out rock-star before I become 40, all alone and without my wife on my side. You will see a lot more of us, working together, in the future. I will work hard on making this work. I will also work harder on the music, and on my other passions in life, such as movies and video production.
If you cant be there to support me in my decisions, please don't be there at all.
To everyone that I've hurt, most of all my wife, I am truly sorry. |
